Paleo DIet Class

Heard of the Paleo, primal or caveman diet and have questions? Looking to learn how to make it work with you and your family on an everyday basis? This 3-night class will teach you all the basics you need to know to get started as well as the benefits and some history of the diet. There will be free samples from many different paleo-friendly companies as well as homemade food samples plus a full cooking demo during the second night. You will leave this class knowing how to shop, cook, and go out to eat choosing foods in a caveman-like fashion. This is one of the best things you can do for your health! Classes are Wednesday nights from 6:30-8pm at Emerson Hospital in Concord, MA from October 9th – 23rd. The link for more info and to sign up is here. You can also visit my website at

NO CLASS Monday, December 17

Due to all of the school cancelations and delays and the fact that the roads are still pretty icy, I think it’s best to keep the little ones safe at home this morning. I hope to see everyone tomorrow!

Schedule Changes July 16 – July 26

All classes from July 16 through July 23 will be held inside at CrossFit Nashua. Outdoor classes at Benson Park will resume on Friday, July 30.

Summer Classes

Starting May 14th, Monday and Friday classes will meet at Benson Park in Hudson. It’s a beautiful outdoor location with room to run and a playground for the kids!
Tuesdays and Thursdays (as well as rainy Mondays and Fridays) will continue to be at CrossFit Nashua, so we have the best of both worlds!

CrossFit Kids

I know we have some CrossFit kids in our midst! Preschool classes start next Wednesday (April 11) and the first class is free! I’m so excited to get our kids involved in this! Click here for all the info at CrossFit Nashua’s website.

Outdoor classes

As the weather continues to warm up and the sun finally makes an appearance, we will be taking parts of class outside when we can. Please make sure your kiddos are dressed for the weather. It will be great to enjoy the fresh air!

In May 2011 I had reached an all time high weight and an all time low emotional state.  That is when Jen McArdle entered my life.  Through her creative class formats and training techniques Jen led me down a path to physical fitness that I never dreamed I could achieve is such a short time.  Each class was different and included so many varieties of exercise techniques and challenges and always included fun with the kids through songs and such.  From circuits with kettlebells and medicine balls, to stairs, to sprints and hills and drills, to rousing rounds of capture the flag, Jen challenged each person to push their limits and meet their goals. Jen has an amazing way of connecting with each client and noticing every little improvement you make.  She modifies exercises so that each person feels challenged to their own level fitness.  She reaches out and lets you know that she cares about your personal goals and then she helps you get there.  With Jen’s commitment to my goals, I was able to lose 50 pounds in 4 months but more than that, I watched my son learn that fitness is fun.  He now does the stretches with me and during the work outs he can be heard egging me on with a chorus of “Faster Mama, faster!”  I am more confident, more fit, stronger, happier and healthier and my son has connected fitness to fun.  Nothing can beat that.
