About Us

MomFit is a fitness program designed to meet the needs of moms with small children. Moms have the unique opportunity to get in a great workout while keeping their child(ren) by their side.

MomFit is a 60 minute stroller-based fitness class that combines strength exercises with cardiovascular drills to help moms get fit and stay fit. Classes utilize yoga, Pilates and abdominal exercises for core strength, as well as CrossFit techniques for ultimate fitness.

Classes are designed to meet the needs of every fitness level and are appropriate for moms of children aged 6 weeks to 4 years.

In May 2011 I had reached an all time high weight and an all time low emotional state.  That is when Jen McArdle entered my life.  Through her creative class formats and training techniques Jen led me down a path to physical fitness that I never dreamed I could achieve is such a short time.  Each class was different and included so many varieties of exercise techniques and challenges and always included fun with the kids through songs and such.  From circuits with kettlebells and medicine balls, to stairs, to sprints and hills and drills, to rousing rounds of capture the flag, Jen challenged each person to push their limits and meet their goals. Jen has an amazing way of connecting with each client and noticing every little improvement you make.  She modifies exercises so that each person feels challenged to their own level fitness.  She reaches out and lets you know that she cares about your personal goals and then she helps you get there.  With Jen’s commitment to my goals, I was able to lose 50 pounds in 4 months but more than that, I watched my son learn that fitness is fun.  He now does the stretches with me and during the work outs he can be heard egging me on with a chorus of “Faster Mama, faster!”  I am more confident, more fit, stronger, happier and healthier and my son has connected fitness to fun.  Nothing can beat that.
